Kristof Hefty
junior acoustic consultant
Kristof joined the SoundSense team in 2023, working out of the New York City office. Since joining SoundSense, he has worked on many different areas of acoustic testing including noise prediction and mitigation, acoustic separation, code compliance, and HVAC noise control.
During his time with SoundSense, Kristof has worked on a variety of projects, including:

In 2023, Kristof graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Arts with a music concentration, though he also spent two years as an Aeronautical Engineering major. During his time at RPI, he developed a passion for acoustics and was fascinated by Acoustic Design, which perfectly blended his love of science, engineering, and music. He began interning with SoundSense and expanded his understanding of Acoustics, finding joy in applying problem-solving skills and his understanding of sound to help people in the real world. Outside of the office, he is passionate about exploring the possibilities of recorded sound as a producer and audio engineer. Kristof also enjoys making visual art, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
